Milagros Melendez is the Latin American representative of the Immigration Law Department at Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, LLP.

With over 11 years of experience as a Latin American Representative, she has become an authority in Canadian immigration in that territory. She has developed an expertise with business class immigrants (investors and entrepreneurs), while she also has a successful track record with skilled-workers and family class immigrants who wish to establish themselves in Canada.

Milagros Melendez is a member of the Inter-American Bar Association as well as the Venezuelan Bar Association. She was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela and obtained her Law degree from the University of Zulia. She then received a graduate diploma in International Trade from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, which led her to work in the Immigration field after a successful career in taxation law with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
