Mr. Charles E. Flam

Me Charles E. Flam is the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Robinson Sheppard Shapiro. He is a senior member of the firm’s Litigation Group and regularly appears before the courts of Quebec and Canada at all trial and appellate levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

The main practice areas of Me Flam include commercial and civil litigation, professional responsibility, shareholder disputes, and the responsibility of corporate directors and officers. He has been identified by LEXPERT as a leading practitioner for Corporate Commercial Litigation. Me Flam also counsels applicants for immigration to Canada.

Me Flam is a member of the Montreal, Quebec, Canadian and American Bar Associations, and of the Association of Trial Lawyers in America. He has been a Governor of the Quebec Bar Foundation, a member of the Quebec Bar Disciplinary Committee, and a director of numerous social, educational and charitable organizations. He is presently a member of the Deliberations Committee and of the Committee on the Illegal Practice of Law of the Montreal Bar.

Me Flam was born in Chandler, Quebec. After studying at Ashbury College in Ottawa, he graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in 1963 and obtained his B.C.L. degree in 1966. He was a McGill University Scholar throughout his years of study at the Faculty of Law. Since his admission to the Quebec Bar in 1967, he has practiced with Robinson Sheppard Shapiro.
