Me Yanick Charbonneau is an associate in the firm’s Immigration Law group. He has developed a sound expertise in Immigration Law matters, more particularly in the Business Class category, and provides to business and independent persons a wide range of legal services and advice on Immigration and cross-border matters.

Me Charbonneau is a member of the AQAADI (Association Québécoise des avocats et avocates pratiquant en droit de l’immigration), as well as a member of the Montreal, Quebec and Canadian Bar Associations. In addition to English and French, he has a basic knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin).

Me Charbonneau was born in Montréal, Québec. He has attended the American School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and obtained his Law degree from the Université de Montréal in 1994.

Me Charbonneau was called to the Québec Bar in 1996. Prior to joining Robinson Sheppard Shapiro in 2006, he practiced as a solo practitioner and appeared regularly before the Courts of Québec. During the course of his practice, he developed strong alliances in the Middle Eastern and North African regions, notably in Morocco, as well as in Beijing, China, of which his wife is a national.
